About DC Building Inc.

Dave Charlton, founder of DC Building, has worked in high-end residential construction for 25 years. In 1999, he relocated with his family from Long Island, New York, to the Eastern Shore of Virginia, where he built his own PolySteel home in the seaside hamlet of Seaview. Since then, Dave has built a wide range of custom homes across the Eastern Shore, and renovated many others.

DC Building operates with a full-time crew, including a master carpenter, framers, and skilled craftsmen. Additionally, the company works with a hand selected team of subcontractors to complete specialty fields such as mechanical, tile, and kitchen design work.

DC Building holds a Class A License and is bonded and insured.

Dave Charlton sits on the Northampton County Board of Building Appeals.
